About Us

The philanthropists belonging to Kammavar community residing in and around Theni formed a society in the year 1972 and started a Matriculation School in the town. 25 years of their educational service they realized the necessity of offering a value based technical education to uplift the lifestyle of educationally and economically backward people in this region and started a Polytechnic college and Engineering college simultaneously in the year 2007—2008 in the name “Theni Kammavar Sangam Polytechnic College” and “Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Technology”.

Theni Kammavar Sangam Polytechnic College

is situated at the out-skirts of Theni on Theni—Venkatachalapuram main road at 2km from Theni—Madurai Highway. It has a built up area of 10,239 sqmts, accommodating all class rooms and all laboratories in a ground plus three floors building inside the big campus extending to 75 acres. The calm and evergreen environment provides a conducive atmosphere for learning.

All the laboratories are fully equipped with modern equipments and practical training is given as per syllabus prescribed by Directorate of Technical Education. Also job oriented training programs in advanced specialized areas and soft skill development programs are being conducted so as to enable the students to get employment immediately after completion of diploma.
